God is Awesome.

Tonight there was this awesome storm that came through and the outside afterwards was amazing. I was taking pictures of the sun going down and decided to turn around to look at the sky behind me and there was the most amazing rainbow that I have ever seen. God is just amazing, to make something so beautiful out of such an ugly storm.

Sooo..as if my afternoon wasn't blah enough, my lovely car decides that it doesn't want to go anywhere anymore.! It died, of course, as we are getting ready to leave for church! So I had to stay and get the car towed, what fun. But thank God that we have Jamey's trusty steed and the fact that J.T has a car helps.

In Memory...

I got some really sad news today. One of the children that I have had in my class for over 3 years now, his father died today. I am just in complete shock. I just spoke to the man last night! There was a mix up last night at who was supposed to pick up the child, so he (the child) came and sat with me during our staff meeting until his dad came to get him. I spoke and then they left. The dad dropped the child at Burger King and then got into a accident. He was at the hospital all day, and then around 4:30 his mom called and told Mrs.Sharon that he had passed. I just cant explain what I am feeling, I am so sad. Not for me, but for the little boy, his sister and the mom. My heart is just breaking. And I am also sad that I never got around to asking him if he was saved or not. I pray that he was.

My husband is a Great Cook (and shopper!)

Well I just had to post this to let the world know how sweet Jamey is. Last week I was really sick and couldn't hardly get up to go to the bathroom, let alone do the grocery shopping or cooking. So Jamey volunteered to go for me! He really did really well too. He then even decides that he wants to cook! He bought some mixins for 15 Bean Soup ( I had never really heard of this, but he was excited about it! ) and some corn bread mix. He soaked the beans over night and everything. I was so proud! Well the next day he shows me his beautiful creation and was so proud of himself that he took pictures! He did very good and the cornbread was beautiful and the soup was great! Thank you baby.

Last Friday night, after going to my brother's Party at Outback ( Happy 18th birthday Mack ) Brooke and I went to pick up her friend Jamie to spend the weekend. So after we get her we jet over to where my Aunt Rio is house sitting and swim ( yeah ) for awhile (till like 9:30!). Then we come home and the girls crash. The next day we go to the Dollar movie and then bought a pool!! Yep, although it is only 8 inches deep! We put the pool up outback and and played a trivia game, anyway they had fun. Then we tried to roast hotdogs, but I couldn't light the stupid fire. Then we moved onto marshmallows and after watching CampRock we played with sparklers. Here are some pics for you....

To Long

Wow, i can't believe how long it had been since i posted. Feels like ages. But I just thought that I would let everyone know that all is well, I am feeling somewhat better and hope to be back to my normal self soon. Oh and thank you "skates" for my wonderful present, they helped cheer me up. Here are some pics of us getting ready to go to VBS (which was awesome). Those are not my glasses by the way, they are Jamey's, I just think they make me look cute!

What a day. Brooke and I went everywhere. Well, really only like 3 places, but it was eventful. We went around and gathered some more arts and crafty things and then we went to a yard sale and racked up on some throw pillows and shoes (they were brand new)!!!!! So here are some pictures of what we have done today..
I bought the mirrors at the $ store and the "welcome" sign as well. It is a removable sticker but looks like paint, i love this. I think Brooke does too.

I bought this tray at Hobby Lobby, I painted it and then placed some really cute stickers in the bottom. This is sitting on my dining room table, it will hold my salt and pepper shakers.


I found this at the $ store, just too cute to pass up, the sides and back are painted black and have white polka dots.

More crafties!

Good Morning all. Just thought that I would share some more of my little craft projects. Recently I have needed somewhere to keep all my earrings in one spot, not wanting to give in and buy a traditional jewelry box I waited to find just the right thing. I stumbled upon this cute little box at the dollar store. It is just the right size. It was already painted, but not in the right colors, so I decided I would give it a makeover. I have also added some pics of my blanket that I am crocheting so you can see my progress

Yeah, my makeup from E.L.F cosmetics finally came yesterday. Do I hate that it took so long for them to send me my stuff? Yes. but do I love the products? YES. This stuff is awesome and really great, especially for the price.

Pre-k Graduation.

Thursday May 29th was my Pre-k graduation. We sang some songs, received a diploma, recited a poem and listened to a few kind words from the boss lady. Here are some pics of the event.....
